With the K+DCAN OBD cable and the right software (INPA, EDIABAS) you can read out the error log and other information from a BMW. With its integrated switch this interface is suitable for all models (except Ethernet).

New version with support for K-line or diagnostic CAN (DCAN)

The built-in pressure switch is used to connect the OBD-2 pins 7 and 8 for older vehicle models (pressed in).

For older models, an adapter for the old BMW connector may be necessary.
We offer an alternative adapter for diagnostics via Ethernet.
