Real head-up display for every car with OBD II: Projects important data directly onto the windshield. So you no longer have to look away from the traffic - for greater safety.
The handy device is placed on the dashboard and simply connected to the OBD-2 socket. It automatically searches for the appropriate protocol and establishes a connection as soon as you switch on the ignition. If you switch off the ignition/engine, the display stops showing and saves the battery (approx. 25 mA standby).
The bright 7-segment display can be mirrored directly onto the windshield or onto the reflective foil provided. With foil (do not attach it in the field of view of the area swept by the windshield wipers) it offers an optimal display. The result is remarkably clear directly onto the windshield, however, due to the multi-layer structure of the windshield with little annoying duplication. The brightness of the display automatically adjusts to the ambient brightness and is still relatively good to see even in direct sunlight.
The design of the display with the raised panel on the long side effectively prevents the driver from being dazzled and irritated because the display cannot be viewed directly.
The display is configured using a convenient adjustment wheel. Limit values can be set, for example to trigger an alarm (visually and acoustically) if an engine speed is exceeded.
The display has blue ambient lighting and a white bar graph display for the engine speed. A red arrow visually signals alarms caused by error codes that have occurred or the parameterized limit values being exceeded. In addition, the current mode is shown by a symbol and whether the display shows Km/h or MPH (selectable). All lighting elements can be switched on or off individually until only the pure numerical values are visible - depending on your personal taste.

- RPM (graphic)
- Battery voltage
- Coolant temperature (usually water, often oil in diesel - depending on the vehicle) in °C or °F
The speed is not measured by GPS, which often leads to delays if no or too few satellites are received (e.g. in a tunnel, dense forest or between tall buildings), but the value from the ECU is output. The measurement is also carried out at much shorter intervals and is reliable even at low speeds. This is the real speed (without inaccuracy of the speedometer). The display can be adjusted with a correction value. Set it to "100" if you want the exact measurement value from the ECU.
The display can be used on almost all vehicles from around 2002 onwards if one of the following protocols is supported by the vehicle:
- ISO 9141
- ISO 14230
- ISO 15031 (CAN)
