Bluetooth diagnostic interface for the common OBD II protocols in the car with a wide range of software, some of which is free. Ideal for reading error codes (DTC) and clearing the error memory. Reading out all live measurement values supported by the vehicle. All functions according to OBD-2 are supported.

The interface uses a protocol interpreter that is largely compatible with the ELM 327. The following diagnostic protocols are supported (including automatic protocol search):

• ISO 9141-2 (5 baud init, 10.4 kbaud)
• ISO 14230-4 KWP (5 baud init, 10.4 kbaud)
• ISO 14230-4 KWP (fast init, 10.4 kbaud)
• ISO 15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID, 500 kbaud)
• ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID, 500 kbaud)
• ISO 15765-4 CAN (11 bit ID, 250 kbaud)
• ISO 15765-4 CAN (29 bit ID, 250 kbaud)

The (obsolete) protocols according to SAE J1850 are not supported.

There are numerous programs for Windows and Android for ELM-compatible diagnostic adapters: For example, Torque, ScanMaster-ELM or OBDwiz.

The interface is suitable for Android and Windows - not for iOS.

Operation manual:

Plug the interface into the standardized OBD II interface in the car (car, 12 V).

The red LED lights up and signals operational readiness

Switch on ignition - start engine if necessary

Establish a Bluetooth connection to the interface from the PC or smartphone (pairing). Connection code: 1234

Start diagnostic software

Start automatic search for interface and vehicle in the diagnostic software or similar - depending on the software.

The yellow LED flashes indicating that a protocol is being searched

The green LED flashes when exchanging OBD data

Remove the interface from the OBD socket after use
